btdownloadcurses.py doesn't work well with python 2.4-2. Maybe this is not an Archlinux problem at all, but a problem with bittorrent itself, or with python. Anyway, here's the output:

don't know exactly what happend here, but since bt is written in python and was working before the update python update, i can't do much with this problem.

i'll try the new bt beta (3.9) and if it is usable, i'll update the pkg.

the beta is very usable and uses PyGTK {at last} both for Windows and GNU/Linux. You should upgrade to it ASAP cause the problem still is here
