I know it's in a TUR. but maybe the normal easytag does it too. and here is a better place for such discussion

Please provide more info. I don't know what you mean.

About this bug being in the stable version too: I don't think it is since 2.x looks like a partial rewrite to me compared to 1.x

I'm not closing this as it could affect a bug in gnome, but you could be more clear about your bugreport.
