Description:
using phonon-xine and trying to play wma/asf files or streams:
* Dragon Player crachs immediately.
* Kmplayer stops playback with this error message in dmesg:

kphononplayer[4441] general protection ip:b46a8def sp:a72fcf60
error:0 in libavcodec.so.52.69.0[b432c000+4b2000]

I am able to play wma/asf files using phonon-gstreamer or with xine-ui, vlc and mplayer.

Additional info:
* KDE 4.4.3-2
* Phonon 4.4.1-1
* Phonon-xine 4.4.1-1
* qt 4.6.2-4

Steps to reproduce:
* Choose in KDE-Systemsettings xine as backend for Phonon.
* Play any wmv file with Dragon Player.
* Kmplayer must use Phonon as player.

Yes, it is still valid. :-(

Phonon 4.4.2
kde 4.4.4-1
qt 4.6.3-1

status with phonon 4.4.4? Should be reported upstream.

Any news from upstream? AFAIK the xine backend doesnt get that much love. Gstreamer and vlc are preffered.
