Description:
At least in Xfce midori 0.2.5-1 segfaults or crashes at startup if it's started from the menu by the file /usr/share/applications/midori.desktop. The window appears for a millisecond and is then closed at once. At the next start of midori its crash dialog appears.

If midori is started from the terminal (Xfce's Terminal) it starts and runs without any problems.

I can't find an error in the file /usr/share/applications/midori.desktop. And there's no error message.

I can confirm this using the Openbox menu or gmrun. It works for me from a terminal as well.

I cannot confirm this because Midori currently crashes each time at start. This is afaik an issue with openjdk6 plugin.

Please test new midori 0.2.6 release.

The bug still exists in 0.2.6.
