Details

Description:
Pidgin 2.7.0 crashes after connection to ICQ. Its comming with this version.
When im connected it seems like pidgin check up statuses and crash.
Other modules (XMPP) works fine

Additional info:
* package version(s): 2.7.0-1
* config and/or log files etc: attached
* system: Linux pavani-desktop 2.6.33-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu May 13 12:06:25 CEST 2010 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2140 @ 1.60GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Steps to reproduce:
1) open pidgin
2) connect to ICQ
3) PROFIT?

Can you get a backtrace? and also, I have a feeling that this is probably an upstream bug.

it seems like some buddy from my contact list - is cause of this crash.
sometimes pidgin starts ok, but after some time its crash up. some times its happend after start pidgin..

@supersonic same issue as upstream 11863.

if you don't want to wait until 2.7.1 is release i suggest to use ABS and add this patch:

2.7.1 has been released, please close this when the package get's upgraded
