The current vim package in ABS (7.2.2150-1) builds vim, gvim, and vim-runtime correctly but won't install. I get the following message when I do makepkg -ci: ==> Installing vim package group with pacman -U... loading package data... checking dependencies... error: conflicting packages were found in target list error: you cannot install two conflicting packages at the same time error: failed to prepare transaction (conflicting dependencies) :: vim: conflicts with gvim ==> WARNING: Failed to install built package(s). I had gvim installed, but I've removed it (pacman -Rsc gvim) and I still get the same error message. |

because is trying to install all 3 packages and gvim conflicts with vim.

The PKGBUILD is designed that way. Not much that can be done about that from a makepkg point of view.
