Description:

After upgrading to emacs 23.2.1, emacs takes 100% of cpu. Same with empty .emacs, and with emacs -q.

It looks to come from my gtk-kde4 theme, when I remove the .kde4/env/gtk-qt-engine.rc.sh file, it's ok (no
more extra cpu used).

A bit strange, but the workaround is quite simple. Firefox, that is using the same theme, doesn't have
this problem.

This is my workaround in .bashrc
alias emacs='GTK2_RC_FILES= emacs'

That alias fixes the problem for me, too!

This isnt a problem with emacs. Its a problem of the KDE/QT->GTK engine.
Those engines cause nothing but problems.
