hello,

i've installed kdepim-kmail and run it from konsole, it complains about akonadi server and fail to start.

maybe just a missing dependencies.

well...a log would be usefull.

Works here. Try removing your akonadi data (~/.kde4/share/apps/akonadi*, ~/.config/akonadi, ~/.local/share/akonadi)

I've add akonadi and same, fail to start it.
but that was under fvwm..

under kde i've just try and it runs..

sorry for the report, i've thought kmail could be run as standalone app, seems not..
