Details

Description: HD4xxx and HD3xxx Ati Cards need two firmware files for irq support. If they are missing gpu acceleration is disabled.
dmesg:

r600_cp: Failed to load firmware "radeon/R700_rlc.bin"
[drm:rv770_startup] *ERROR* Failed to load firmware!
radeon 0000:01:00.0: disabling GPU acceleration

This is already described in the wiki: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ati#Kernel_mode-setting_.28KMS.29

Maybe Arch could implement these files in kernel26-firmware?
