Unlike pm-utils 1.2, pm-utils 1.3 and higher no longer query
HAL for video quirks -- since HAL's days are numbered, the
pm-utils project has taken over maintaining the video quirks
database. pm-utils will crash machines that require video
quirks on resume if the quirks database is not included.
You can grab the latest quirks database at http://pm-utils.freedesktop.org/releases/pm-quirks-20100316.tar.gz, or clone the video-quirks branch of the pm-utils git repository. Disclamer: I am the upstream maintainer of pm-utils. |

I would suggest packaging these as standalone package and adding
it as dependency to pm-utils. We handle hal-info in the same way.
I am no longer maintaining pm-utils (it's orphaned at the moment),
but I'll put a call out on the ML for takers.
I'll adopt pm-utils then.
