DetailsThe new povray-package installs the ini and the conf file to /etc. Unfortunately this files are not changed by ./configure to set the Library_Path to /usr/share... Actually, this bug should be reported to povray team, but their prefered way to distribute seems to are binaries. So I think we should fix it for Archlinux our own way. It doesn't fail to render on all files, but povray doesn't work out of the box the way it could. I attached a *.pov-file which shows the effect. It fails to render, after correction of pathes it works.
sed -i "s|/usr/local/share|/usr/share|g" povray.ini in PKGBUILD will help. |
