DetailsI have had problems with audio sounding distorted and noisy in games like BOS Wars and cube2/sauerbraten/bloodfrontier/platinumartssandbox/syntensity/openttd.
I saw http://pulseaudio.org/wiki/PerfectSetup#SDL and recompiled SDL with --enable-pulse, installed it and the problems were away! I would like to request --enable-pulse to be on by default.
