Details

With latest gnome 2.3 updates, handbrake, (ghb binary) won't allow you to create output. After scanning the source, the start button is grayed out.

Arch w/o the gnome 2.3 updates works fine (tested in a virtual machine).

If executed from the command line, the following is echoed to the shell:

** (ghb:4569): WARNING **: returning null (AudioTrack)


Package info:
handbrake-0.9.4-1 both i686 and x86_64 architectures


Steps to reproduce:
1) Installed latest arch updated from the repos
2) Run ghb
3) choose a source, indiv file or dvd iso

please report this upstream. some users reported that it may be because of glib2 2.24 and maybe handrake is not compatible with it.

I have the same problem. But the SVN handbrake on AUR seems to work!

The Handbrake guys are already are on top of it. SVN revisions >=3196 work fine.

i had some time today and cherry pick a commit that seems to fix this issue. please test handbrake-0.9.4-2 from testing and let me know
