can you please move this file to an other gnome package that everyone has installed, (some seem not to install gdm (eg. they use kdm)) to solve this issue
it executes gnome-session so gnome-session would be a good place or not?
and please inlcude absolute paths in desktop file

has also wrong execution rights
it should be 644 not 755

It's 755 in the upstream package. I will package gnome-session with a gnome.desktop file and remove it from gdm. I will file an upstream bugreport about this one.
