Description:
I have a fluxbox-based environment started from slim login manager. Session is started as follows: cat ~/.xinitrc exec ck-launch-session startfluxbox evince 2.28 was installed for viewing pdf files. Recently i installed gnome-sudoku (with all dependecies) and now it takes 10 seconds to show the evince window after it has been started (on C2D!!) and another 20 seconds to open file. If it is started from console, it prints $ evince ** (evince:15475): WARNING **: Failed to create dbus proxy for org.gnome.SettingsDaemon: Could not get owner of name 'org.gnome.SettingsDaemon': no such name I installed gnome-settings-daemon and launched it. Nothing changed. Updated the evince - no changes. Additional info: * evince 2.30.0 (2.28 too) Steps to reproduce: start evince and wait, wait, wait... |

sorry, the source of the problem was a mounted directory on a
shutdown host. after unmounting that directory evince starts
immediately. remove this bug report please.
