Detailsmysql.install contains
usr/bin/mysql_install_db --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --user=mysql where it should be (as far as I understands) /usr/bin... At least this prevented correct installation of mysql on my machine. Cheers Gartrog |

The missing slash is correct; it's even required to write the path that way. pacman will change to / before calling the script.
