Details
Description:
libpanelappletmm dependency is no longer needed and pulls a lot of other gnome deps. Additional info: * gnote 0.7.2-2 * Dependencies from the README file (http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/gnote/0.7/gnote-0.7.2.tar.gz): - Gtkmm 2.12 minimum (Gtkmm 2.14 recommended) - Gtk+ 2.12. - libxml2 - libxslt - libuuid - boost 1.34 - libpcrepp (part of pcre) - (optional) gtk-spell 2.0.9 Steps to reproduce: Remove libpanelappletmm in PKGBUILD, compile, install and it runs fine. |
This task depends upon
GNOME Panel Applet support: no
- It's a dependency currently only needed by gnote
- Pulls a lot of gnome deps (20)
- Adds a non-critical feature
,/usr/bin/gnote,libpanelappletmm-2.6.so.1
,/usr/bin/gnote,libpanel-applet-2.so.0
i use this feature and i'm not going to remove it. the best solution that i see here is to use abs and recompile it without applet support.
