DetailsDescription:
After upgrading on March 17, my kernel.log is filled with one and the same error repeated over and over again: Mar 26 02:57:22 mylaptop kernel: iwlagn 0000:03:00.0: free more than tfds_in_queue (0:1) This error is repeated about 35 times a second (!!!) and my computer is getting clogged! Please, help! I'm not sure what was upgraded at that date. I caught the error just now, so I didn't pay attention then. I saw that it is reported as a kernel bug on the ubuntu forums. This happens on my thinkpad t400 laptop. Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Check the log files on an upgraded system (possibly only thinkpad t400 affected?) with a loaded iwlagn. |

Reason for closing: Fixed
Additional comments about closing: Fixed in 2.6.33.2 and 2.6.32.11 upstream. At least one of these kernels made it to core.

x86_64 2.6.32.10-1 kernel / ThinkPad T500 / Intel PRO/Wireless 5100 AGN / iwlwifi-5000-ucode 8.24.2.12-2.
Reports like "iwlagn 0000:03:00.0: free more than tfds_in_queue (1:2)" are making unbelievable mess in dmesg, each second there are ~2 new ones. Occurs when connected to a WPA2-AES secured Wi-Fi network.
Seems to be solved here for now.
