DetailsI've written a patch for initscripts that will allow a FASTBOOT option. This will load all daemons once the login screen is reached, not before. For a detailed explanation, see this thread: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?p=55738#55738

Though the actual script should probably extract the prefix (first char) then run a case on it, rather than extracting it twice (once for "!" check and another for "@" check)
