Details
Description:
libsasl does not support NTLM login at the moment. This is useful for people working with MS-Exchange servers. At least KMail refuses to send email when NTLM is not enabled. I'm attaching the PKGBUILD that enables NTLM support. Basically an one line change :-) None of the other files for the package needed to be changed. Additional info: * libsasl: 2.1.23-2 Steps to reproduce: * Find a SMTP server that only supports NTLM * Try sending email with KMail. It fails with error that "No worthy mech(s) found". |

This should go in the cyrus-sasl-plugins package.
- Field changed: Status (Assigned → Unconfirmed)
- Assignment removed
Unassigned me. This is not my package.
I would also like to request this feature. NTLM is the only
authentication method supported by my university mail server (MS
exchange). Are there any licensing or other reasons this is not
included?
