DetailsDescription:
I posted a bug regarding compiz on it's bugzilla: http://bugs.opencompositing.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1271 It appears that they have fix for this. Could you please apply patch to archlinux' compiz package? Additional info: * Compiz 0.8.4 Steps to reproduce: 1. Open two windows one after another. 2. Move mouse pointer where it is not over any window. 3. Close window on the top. Current behavior: Focus is lost. No window is selected. Expected behavior: Focus is gained by window that had focus before closed window. |

Just tested this on top of kde as I had to verify another compiz/kde bug, but as the other one, I can't replicate. Opening two windows, moving mouse pointer to somewhere on the screen where there is no window and hitting alt-f4 results in closing the second opened window (which had focus) and moving focus to the first opened window.

I use xfce (4.6.1) with compiz window manager. I don't know how many people has similar issue but I guess: quite some (since patch is avalible). Anyway, I appled patch by myself and it fixed the problem. My slightly modified PKGBUILD from community is attached, so as the patch itself.
