It would be usefull to have reboot and halt commands in the initramfs, especially if you enter the interactive shell.

I don't think it will add too much to the busybox binary.

I added them in the beginning and they don't work - apparently they need busybox's init to run. They just do nothing when you run them.

you can use but needs poweroff -f, halt -f reboot -f ;) just enable CONFIG_HALT=y

[ramfs /]# poweroff -f
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Stopping disk
ACPI: Preparing to enter system sleep state S5
Disabling non-boot CPUs ...
Power down.

And disks will shutdown with the correct secuence :)
