Huawei gsm E220 did not work any more (was use to 3 month ago)

do you try modemmanager 0.4 in testing?

After a fresh "$ pacman -Suy" it still not work same message.

Is this bug still valid? According to your last comment it still fails, but while yaourt shows you have 0.4 installed, 0.3.x is still running: the error message generated still mentions hal while 0.4 was ported to gudev. That means that though you updated, the old version was still running.
