Details
Description: When running X on openchrome, it stops the
system. Audio that is playing goes looping (the hardware is
reading the same buffer over and over again).
I recently upgraded to new xorg and openchrome: - xf86-video-openchrome-0.2.904-2-i686.pkg.tar.xz - xorg-server-1.7.5.901-2-i686.pkg.tar.xz First tried a downgrade of xorg: sudo pacman -U xorg-server-1.7.5-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz This message is printed by X after downgrade: viaWaitVideoCommandFire: Timeout. Then a downgrade of openchrome: sudo pacman -U xf86-video-openchrome-0.2.904-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz Now everything works fine again. - Field changed: Summary (starting X with openchrome driver crash kernel stop system → [xf86-video-openchrome] starting X crash kernel stop system)
status with latest xorg-server?
is this ancient bug still around?
Not updated in over a year. Strong candidate for closing.
