specifically this file:

/usr/share/config/kdm/Xsetup

i use it to run a custom xrandr script before KDM, so the login screen works across 2 monitors for any user. each time this package is updated, the file is replaced. many of the X* files in /usr/share/config/kdm are empty, i.e. like /etc/rc.local, and for custom configuration anyway, so should be safe to ignore.

you can use NoUpgrade option in pacman.conf, anyway maintainers decide...
