DetailsDescription: There are websites which test the browser first, and then implement different jobs according to it. Firefox in Arch adopts the version name as the user agent, which is very bad for those websites. I suggest the package use the original user-agent (and best all the default icons and so on) from mozilla, since that is common and best for the majority.

Reason for closing: Upstream
Additional comments about closing: Upstream should change the user agent, or websites should start implementing common sense. Firefox is not a browser to check for, but an implementation of the gecko engine.

The problem for me is: the firefox package is faulty in the sense that many websites behaves badly. And after the user agent being changed back to the original ("firefox"?), firefox behaves perfectly.

Due to mozilla licensing, we cannot distribute the firefox package with official branding. You can either use firebrand, change manually the agent or use User Agent Switcher addon.

Using the original Logo is afaik not allowed. Change the user agent to firefox should be fine though. (e.g. Chromium sends chrome as user agent, too)
