Detailson first startup Firefox asks:
"Firefox is not currently set as your default browser. Would you like to make it your default browser?" -> Yes Error message: (Gecko:4770): libgnomevfs-WARNING **: Deprecated function. User modifications to the MIME database are no longer supported. I don't know if this is a build issue or a general problem with firefox 1.0 and gnome-vfs 2.8.3-1 (my current version) |

Reason for closing: Fixed
Additional comments about closing: I think the latest version has this issue fixed. I can't find anything about default browser anywhere, but the rename of mozilla-firefox -> firefox should have changed things.
