Since a few weeks we (OVH) have added ArchLinux to our distrib portfolio.
We now also want to prepare a mirror for internal and external use, please permit access to rsync.archlinux.org.

Geographical location: Roubaix, France

There seem to be some routing problems when I try to reach this mirror from archlinux.de. The traceroute ends at "decix.routers.ovh.net (80.81.192.209)". Or is external access blocked intentional? The ipv6 routing seems to be fine though.

PS: I would suggest to rsync from e.g. ftp5.gwdg.de::pub/linux/archlinux

EDIT: The routing seems to be fixed for a few hours now.

Pierre: That IP (81.169.131.187) seems to have been blacklisted on our routers, I have no information why that was the case. It has been unblocked yesterday.

Thanks for suggesting gwdg mirror, the initial sync has completed last night, the mirror is now up and running. sync is now done every 8 hours at slighty randomized times.

The mirror has been added to our database and will appear in the next release of pacman-mirrorlist.

please use the following rsync options:
rtlvH --delete-after --delay-updates --safe-links --max-delete=1000
