DetailsDescription: the devel configuration for avahi-qt3 complains about missing qt-mt config package, although it should be optional. The problem is that it affects pkgconfig as a whole, it is not possible to list all packages because the error.
Additional info: * package version(s): avahi-0.6.25-1, pkgconfig-0.23-1 * config and/or log files: defaults, no changes. * I suppose file: /usr/lib/pkgconfig/avahi-qt3.pc is to blame. It belongs to Arch package 'avahi'. * it is possible that the bug is related to this: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/pkg-config/2009-February/000410.html * patching /usr/lib/pkgconfig/avahi-qt3.pc to remove the 'private' from the requirement can solve the issue - see attachment. Steps to reproduce: $ pkg-config --list-all ... Package qt-mt was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `qt-mt.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable Package 'qt-mt', required by 'avahi-qt3', not found |
