moc supports a wide range of formats, among them the lossless wavpack format. As of moc 2.5.0_alpha4-1 moc is compiled without support for wavpack. I'd like to request wavpack as optdepend as it is done with speex already. Both moc and wavpack can be found in [extra], wavpack support in moc works. |

It prints this message at startup:
Can't load plugin libwavpack_decoder: file not found
And it simply doesn't 'see' wavpack files, so you can't play them or add them to a playlist, same as if it was compiled without wavpack support.
The only problem is with playlists that already include wavpack files, but I guess it's the same with a build without wavpack support in the first place.
Hence I don't see anything that speaks against adding wavpack as optdepend.
