DetailsDescription:
I use Rhythmbox with the "Portable Players - MTP" plugin enabled to transfer songs to a Samsung YP-U3 device. Today was my first time using it with the new libmtp, and it kept segfaulting shortly after startup. Rebuilding Rhythmbox appears to fix this problem and allows Rhythmbox to interact with the music player device again. Additional info: * package version(s): rhythmbox 0.12.6-1, libmtp 1.0.2-1 |
This task depends upon

Forgot to attach a gdb backtrace which, although doesn't give in-depth information about the segfault, points to an issue with the MTP plugin.

This has been rebuilt in the gnome-unstable repo
