DetailsA notification in Gnome informs me:
Session active, not inhibited, screen idle. If you can see this text, your displayserver is broken and you should notify your distributor. Please see http://blogs.gnome.org/hughsie/2009/08/17/gnome-power-manager-and-blanking-removal-of-bodges/ for more information. Everything appears to still be working fine. Prior to seeing this, I had unplugged my laptop (during which I think it was a while before the screen brightness changed), plugged it back in, and adjusted the screen brightness down from full. Shortly after the screen blanked for a split-second, and this notification was present in the notification area. Installed programs include: xorg-server 1.7.5-1 gnome-desktop 2.28.2-1 |
