Description:
After upgrading the package postgis-1.4.0-1 to postgis-1.5.0-1 is not possible to upgrade the database using the sql convenience script. Reason: old postgis1.4 lib is not found



Steps to reproduce:
upgrade to postgis1.5.0-1.
Try to upgrade a spatially enable database.

I have the same problem. Is there a workaround until a fixed is proposed ? Thanks.

well...you should dump all your database tables, wipe the database, recreate it, load postgis function and then reload all your tables.
I can't do it because I have lots of personally written procedures and triggers, hundreds of big tables... so I would use the package scripts doing all the upgrade process for me.
