Description:
When desktop effects are enabled in KDE 4.4.0, there is no select window in fcitx 3.6.2

Additional info:
* fcitx-3.6.2-1

Steps to reproduce:
1. enable desktop effects in KDE 4.4.0, then there is no fcitx select window
2. disable desktop effects in KDE 4.4.0, then fcitx select window is back

Upstream has fixed it at http://code.google.com/p/fcitx/source/detail?r=267.

Please try fcitx-3.6.2-2 in testing. I used a patch that follows revision r267 more closely. The patch you posted had a change that wasn't in r267 and some changes were missing. fcitx starts fine but I don't know how to use it so I'm not sure it it's really fixed.

I just saw that you wrote that it's a problem in KDE. I might be able to test it better later.

I tried to replicate the bug in the fcitx package in extra in KDE with desktop effect but I wasn't able to reproduce the bug mainly because I'm not sure what you mean by "select window". Therefore you'll need to test the package in testing yourself or give step by step instructions on how to replicate the bug, i.e. what I need to do after starting fcitx.
