Description:
I updated to KDE 4.4(extra) from the RC3 and since the upgrade applications like krunner or dolphin won't work giving following error message:

<unknown program name>(4552)/: Communication problem with "krunner" , it probably crashed.
Error message was: "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply" : " "Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken." "

I also noticed that Kontact or KMail won't launch with:

kmail(4590) KMKernel::init: foldersPath (from config): "/home/madcat/.kde4/share/apps/kmail/mail"
"/usr/bin/kmail(4590)" Error in thread 139765187176288 : "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown - The name org.kde.nepomuk.services.nepomukstorage was not provided by any .service files"
kmail(4590)/nepomuk (library) <unnamed>::GlobalModelContainer::init: Connecting to local socket "/home/madcat/.kde4/share/apps/nepomuk/socket"
"/usr/bin/kmail(4590)" Error in thread 139765187176288 : "QLocalSocket::connectToServer: Invalid name"
QMutex::unlock: mutex lock failure:

Additional info:
KDE 4.4
Some users claim that downgrading to Soprano 2.3.75 solves the issue, but I cannot test this out.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Use "pacman -Syu and pacman -Suu to upgrade to KDE 4.4"
2) Reboot and try to launch any of the malfunctioning applications.
