Description:
According to KOffice Wiki pstoedit is not a dependency for KOffice. Despite that it IS a dependency of KOffice arch packacge in extra repo. As a result, KOffice indirectly depends on gtk2 (koffice-libs => pstoedit => imagemagick => librsvg => gtk2). The same about wv2, libwpd, qca.

Additional info:
* It is koffice-libs 2.1.1 any
This task depends upon

Reason for closing:  Implemented
Additional comments about closing:  pstoedit, libwpd and wv2 are moved to optdepends (of koffice-filters subpackage) in koffice 2.1.2

these dependencies are import filters for the different kparts. I'll see if I can move them to the more natural koffice-filters package in next build though I imagine most people will have the koffice-filters package installed anyway.

note to myself: see if we can move these dependencies into koffice-filters for next build

Maybe we should review the deps of librsvg aswell.

So... Any progress on this?

As i said, it will happen with next build which most likely will be next upstream release

Imagemagick was updated and librsvg was moved to optdepends. The major flaw (dependency on gtk2) is now fixed though some filters are still to be moved outside depends.
