Description:
Is it possible add this field in the PKGBUILD of extra/gnome-python-desktop? provides=('python-wnck') There are some packages in AUR that uses python-wnck (part of gnome-python-desktop) to haven't a lot of gnome dependencies... But this thing is a problem for a gnome user, because python-wnck and gnome-python-desktop are obliviously in conflict, and if a package uses python-wnck a gnome-user has 2 chance: remove gnome-python-desktop with all the packages that depends by him, or modify the PKGBUILD every time... |

Reason for closing: Won't implement
Additional comments about closing: If we start implementing things like this, where do we stop? python-wnck isn't a community or extra package, so there's no binary package that depends on this. If you want to use AUR software and have gnome-python-desktop installed, you'll need to change that PKGBUILD.
