DetailsHi, I am receiving the following error from two different machines (the second one installed just yesterday):
warning: updatedb: could not open database: /var/lib/slocate/slocate.db: No such file or directory warning: updatedb: Could not find the group: slocate in the /etc/group file. fatal error: This is a result of the group missing or a corrupted group file. In fact, the slocate group is missing from /etc/group. I installed from a 0.6-base CD and the slocate group was there, then I upgraded my system to 0.7 with pacman -Syu and noticed that in /etc/group.pacnew it had been removed, so I removed it too from my group file. I tried to look at online CVS, but could not find when the modification was introduced. |
