DetailsHi,
Every time i upgrade the 'filesystem' package, my vsftpd server stops accepting ftp connexions. The problem comes from the user rights of /home/ftp: - vsftpd refuses connexions if /home/ftp is writable (not only by group and others but by user too). So i set the user rights to r-xr-xr-x on /home/ftp, - but when 'filesystem' upgrades, /home/ftp is set back to user-writable. Is there a way not to touch /home/ftp when 'filesystem' upgrades? Best thanks |

What I can do is set the perms to 555 in the filesystem package, so when it's upgraded, you won't have to chmod /home/ftp anymore.
