The XMMS package lacks ID3v2 support. There is a patch for this at

I applied it successfully to 1.2.10.

If this patch was accepted @bugs.xmms.org to be included with 1.2.11, I will wait for 1.2.11.

I suggest patching 1.2.10 instead of waiting for 1.2.11, where it

Have you made any decision yet? I'd really like to see this patch applied to Arch's XMMS.

I added this patch. If it causes problems I'll have to remove it. Let me know if you find anything. (according to the xmms bugtracker they were worried about a few things regarind this patch)
