DetailsDescription:
After updating to libjpeg 8-1 from the [testing] repo, the enlightenment (e17) window manager and entrance are unable to startup. Problem occurs because Enlightenment cannot find the necessary libjpeg.so.7 in /usr/lib as it has been replaced by libjpeg.so.8. Possible (read: unconfirmed) workaround is to link libjpeg.so.8 to libjpeg.so.7. Additional info: libjpeg version 8-1 e-svn 44948-1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Update libjpeg to 8-1 2. Install e-svn, or entrance, and try to start either. It will fail, and whine about being unable to load the libjpeg.so.7 library. |

BTW, your workaround will most likely lead to breakage. The proper fix is to rebuild the package (which is an on-going process).
