Details

Description: gutenprint escputil does't work with usb Printers.
escputil need the raw-printer /dev/lp0 or /dev/usb/lp0
But this is only when loading the modul usblp.
cups 1.4x don't need usblp.

You'd better ask upstream the gutenprint devs what they recommend.

please check new 5.2.5 release. if it's still broken file a bug upstream and leave us a link.
