Description:

after last update pdflatex command is not able to make any of previous documents with eps inputfile.
Additional info: solved by downgrade; eps were made with gnuplot and inkscape

not able to make eps/gnuplot graphs: texlive-core-2009.16776-1
ok: texlive-core-2009.15574-1
* config and/or log files etc.

Sorry, but this is a configuration change that has been made upstream. See:
http://tug.org/svn/texlive/trunk/Master/texmf-dist/tex/latex/latexconfig/graphics.cfg?r1=15801&r2=15841
To restore the prior behaviour, manually edit the file /usr/share/texmf-dist/tex/latex/latexconfig/graphics.cfg and uncomment the lines 56 to 71.
I will consider patching this to make it available by default in the next release, but I don't consider this a bug.
