Details

Kms not working whit the kernel in core. Resolution of console is low and there are no any framebuffer devices in /dev. Whit kernel26-ck from aur kms is working perfectly

you have to add radeon.modeset=1 or something like that to grub

have followed the wiki and forums and all, so i have radeon.modeset=1 in kernel line and radeon is in initrd

KMS for ATI is still in development. If it was production-ready, we would have enabled it by default. Upstream doesn't recommend using it in released kernels yet.
