DetailsDescription:
Please include the liblvm2app library with the lvm2 package, which will soon be used by udisks, GParted, libvirt and possibly other disk partitioning apps. It would also be nice to update lvm2 and device-mapper to the most recent versions. Currently Arch is at lvm2 2.02.53 (released 25 September 2009) and device-mapper version 1.02.40 (released 19 November 2009). These are several releases behind upstream: lvm2 2.02.58 and device-mapper 1.02.42, both released on January 14. Attached is a patch which bumps the version PKGBUILD numbers and adds the lvm2app library support. This adds the following files to the lvm2 package: /usr/include/lvm2app.h /usr/lib/liblvm2app.a /usr/lib/liblvm2app.a.2.1 /usr/lib/liblvm2app.so /usr/lib/liblvm2app.so.2.1 /usr/lib/pkgconfig/lvm2app.pc |
