DetailsWhen one upgrades from eg 2008 to 2009, it seems that one has to run fmtutil(-sys). I don't know anything about how this works, but here's the thread where I got my info: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=607695#p607695
It would be great to put that information as a warning that pacman outputs as it upgrades texlive. Thanks. |

I don't understand your comment. Format generation with "fmtutil-sys --all" is done automatically after each upgrade. Your bug report is based on headsay from August 2009. This has nothing to do with the current packages. Closing this.
