I think that, there should be added some post-install message to extra/git package about using it with emacs or vim. Even short one with directories of README files with such informations. Regards, Marcin |

I don't think this would be that helpful. There are other editors besides vim and emacs. I think this task should be left for google or the editor's documentation.

I won't be doing this. We don't do useless post-install messages in Arch unless they are absolutely essential. Holding hands around here is not our job.
