DetailsDescription:
RTC wakeup does not work any more since the last upgrade Steps to reproduce: echo `date '+%s' -d '+ 5 minutes'` > /sys/class/rtc/rtc0/wakealarm shutdown -h now The system won't come up as expected in 5 minutes. Unfortunately I can't tell what exactly broke the wakeup. I've tried to downgrade the kernel to 2.6.32.2 but it didn't help. Any hints what else I could try to debug this problem? |

Well, I've downgraded packages like lirc and nvidia only because of unsatisfied dependencies. I don't think the problem is in there (I just list them for completeness). Rather I expect one of the following packages to be the culprit:
binutils
kernel26
kernel26-firmware
glibc
Indeed, I really think it is a kernel-issue. Everything from 2.6.32 and above seems to have broken wakeup by rtc alarm.
