DetailsThe current version of firefox is still a preview/rc, so now is a nice time to do fixes before releasing the next version.
I took some changes from the gentoo ebuild, added some things by myself and this is what we get: - everything is stuffed in /opt/mozilla-firefox/lib/firefox - icons and desktop files are added, should appear in gnome and KDE menu now (and every other fd.o compliant menu) - launcher script is fixed to open a new window on 2nd invocation if started without URL - include files are no longer copied - pkg-config files are no longer copied - source dir is cleaned up, stuffed everything in a files/ directory In fact, firefox is stripped down to only the core browser now. Yes I know epiphany can use Firefox as browser component, and no, we don't need that on archlinux. The package can be found at http://schoolbak.dyndns.org/~jan/archlinux/mozilla-firefox.tar.gz |

- The launcher looks for /opt/mozilla-firefox/bin/firefox while it should be looking for /opt/mozilla-firefox/lib/firefox/firefox
- the .install script needs a /bin/true in the pre_remove
Further more, since everything is in /opt/mozilla-firefox/lib, the package could be moved to /opt/mozilla-firefox without the lib prefix in that, which is a bit cleaner.
Please note that the compiled package could have unresolved dependencies on various gnome parts or even heimdal. Also note this package has been built on a system with some development gnome parts (glib2/gtk2 2.5.x)
