Description:
Mouse and keyboard will intermittently lock up. The only way that I can recover from this is to use the magic system request keys. When this happens music will continue playing and the numb lock light continues to work. Looking at "Xorg.0.log.old" after reboot reports a "Segmentation fault at address 0x4". Had similar issue earlier but with that neither the magic keys or the numb lock would work and if music was playing, it would stutter. That was resolved my disabling "KMS". Additional info: * package version(s) Xorg-server 1.7.3.902-1 Xorg-server-utils 7.5-3 xf86-input-evdev 2.3.2-1 xf86-input-mouse 1.5.0-1 xf86-input-keyboard 1.4.0-1 xf86-video-ati 6.12.4-3 xf86-video-vesa 2.2.1-1 Kernel 2.6.32-ARCH (also had same issue with 2.6.31) KDE 4.3.4 ATI All-in-Wonder X600 pro video card. * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Too intermittent to reproduce. |

I am using gnome with xmonad...
